Currently living and working in New York. Has worked in Romania, Budapest, and the UK. Received MFA in New York in 2008. Awarded grants from the Foundation for Contemporary Arts and Change Inc.. Recently awarded first place as designer in an architectural competition to redesign The Peace Pentagon in lower Manhattan.

I work primarily in video installation, performance art and mixed media. My work reflects my interests in the physical senses, psychological and physiological adjustment, communication, devices, science and technology. It is inspired mostly from personal experiences, associations, and my own emotional responses. I’m also very interested in language, its barriers, its derivations, and various forms of communication. I approach art in an investigative and scientific way. It usually involves learning a new skill and breaking barriers. I also disassemble objects [i.e. electronic devices, toys, appliances, etc.] in order to see how they work, then re-assemble them to function in a different way. The work becomes an investigation—both of the self and various elements serving as research subjects. I treat it as a method of re-shaping what’s there in order to form a different way to communicate.
